Carlton D. Floyd joined the firm as an associate in March 2010 and became junior partner in January 2015. Carlton was raised in Humboldt County and graduated from Eureka High School in 2001. Carlton graduated from Brigham Young University in 2006 and received his legal education from Ohio Northern University in 2009.
While studying at Ohio Northern University, Carlton worked in the Ohio Northern University Legal Clinic providing pro bono legal services to indigent clients.
Carlton focuses his practice in civil litigation with an emphasis in real property, commercial, insurance and personal injury disputes. As an attorney, Carlton has handled many cases involving complex real property transactions, injuries resulting from vehicle collision, workplace discrimination and fish and game criminal defense. As a civil litigator, Carlton has worked extensively with a wide variety of experts such as foresters, insurance experts, arborists, medical professionals and economists. Carlton is admitted to practice law in California’s state and federal courts.
